OSAS – patients with the untreated OSAS; CPAP-OSAS – patients with OSAS treated successfully after a first attempt with CPAP, controls – subjects without OSAS. Results expressed as a mean ± SD represent concentration of Fe3+ reduced ions after 3 min. incubation of plasma sample with the FRAP reagent. Diff, 95% CI – difference of means with 95% confidence interval No significant differences (p > 0.05) were found for evening and morning FRAP within and between the studied groups. |
